Andrew Sacks Presents at MPP & CCI Seminars

Attorney Andrew Sacks of Sacks Law, LLC in Philadelphia has served as a panelist for a recent seminar presented by the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP). As the only attorney to serve the State Level Coalition of the American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp (ATACH), Mr. Sacks was invited for his insight, intuition, and unparalleled experience in all matters marijuana law related. The seminar was focused on Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Act and the future applications of medicinal cannabis.

The Marijuana Policy Project was established in 1995 after it became clear that current marijuana laws were not helping anyone. The group cites that 87% of marijuana crimes are for mere possession and that there are more marijuana crime arrests each year than all violent crimes put together. With so many Americans being incarcerated for years and paying thousands in fines for a criminal violation that is arguably, if not objectively, harmless, the MPP was one of the first nonprofit groups to begin lobbying for big legislative changes. Knowing that the campaign for fair marijuana use legislation is only just beginning, Attorney Sacks has kept busy and done all he can to bring attention to this serious issue. In addition to serving as a panelist for the MPP’s recent seminar, he also hosted a discussion for the Cannabis Career Institute (CCI). This seminar discussed marijuana law, marketing strategies for marijuana cultivators and medicinal laboratories, legalities of obtaining a marijuana state I.D. card, and much more.

The Cannabis Career Institute is considered one of the world’s leading innovators of marijuana education and marijuana schooling. CCI is there for entrepreneurs who want to get into the business of medicinal and legal recreational marijuana but also want to completely eliminate any risk of breaking the law. As a renowned advocate for balancing marijuana law, Attorney Sacks is honored to be able to conduct seminars on behalf of the CCI.
